Almost more keeping track than planning. I’m all in favor of adjustable rough outline planning. Almost more keeping track than planning.

Why who else would possibly create such a thing? But so far, I've been having too much fun with the existing characters to slip in any references to Tarin and Meson :) I haven't been in touch with Mark since shortly after that big asteroid impact in the Yukatan Peninsula that wiped out all those pesky dinosaurs, but there has been some discussion of The Wild Hunt on the Flying Cloud Forum (http://paulgazis.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=90) Hi Steve,

Any idea of where Mark from The Wild Hunt is these days? I still correspond with John Sapienza, Jr. (he is married, finally). Regards, Steve Marsh I had no idea that “The Flying Cloud” was by Paul Gazis.

(I just found The Flying Cloud two days ago.) I have a work computer with 64-bit Windows XP, and a number of development programs that won't work on it. I use Virtual PC (free from Microsoft) or VirtualBox (free from Oracle) to create a virtual machine running 32-bit Windows XP in a window. All my ancient software works except for stuff that needs access to special hardware. Virtual PC doesn't allow access to USB. VirtualBox claims it does, but so far I haven't been able to get it working. Common USB peripherals like keyboards and mice work, but I don't know if it'd work with a drawing tablet. If you decide to try this route, you'll need a 32-bit Windows installation disk to set up the virtual machine's operating system. Forgive me for coming late to the conversation. I've never used Correl, so gimp may not replicate all of it's functionality, but gimp is effectively a freeware Photoshop. As for AltheDago's comment, macs are wondeful, but probably not a practical alternative. I would also suggest the GIMP.
